After nearly being strangled to death during the failed escape attempt at the Pit of Carkoon , Jabba decided that the Princess was far too much trouble to keep as a slave.

After enacting his own horrible revenge on the Leia, he turned her over to the Empire, taking the large reward as compensation. To fill her empty spot on his dais he called for Oola, the disobedient twi'lek dancer whom he had given to his gamorrean guards after her refusal to serve him.

After spending a week as the barrack's personal whore, Oola was broken and willing to do anything to please her master. For her that meant allowing EV9D9 to make some... improvements that Jabba found very appealing.
